Debbie began her dental consulting career as a registered dental assistant, followed by teaching Dental Auxiliary Utilization at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. She began her consulting and speaking career in 1990. Along with business partner, Virginia Moore, she is co-founder of The Practice Source, a company that provides dental practice management consulting services and also publishes practical, results-oriented dental practice management training materials.
The Consulting U
In January of 2007, Debbie and her partner, Virginia Moore, launched a Masters Training Program for Dental Management Consultants called The Consulting U. This is an intensive, hands-on, 12-day training program held over the course of 5 sessions and 10 months that trains consultants - whether they are just getting started or simply want to take their business to a higher level of success and profitability - in every important aspect of running a successful consulting business. Participants in their first class have called the experience "the best career decision I have ever made."
Debbie’s commitment in her own management consulting business is to teach dentists to be successful business people and leaders. Her years as a dental auxiliary allow her to truly understand the dental office environment, and to motivate and guide staff members toward excellence in their career.

She is a regular contributor to industry journals, including Dental Products Report. She was chosen by Dentistry Today as a “Leader in Consulting” in 2006 and 2007.
Debbie is the current President of the Academy of Dental Management Consultants and a member of the National Speakers Association.
